Gordon has just completed a first class job emulating the 1920's Arts and Crafts style stone work in my house. We had a lot of original stone mullion throughout the house and wanted to continue this 'look' in a recently modified part of the house. He created a beautiful Gothic arch and applied wonderful stone detail demonstrating an extensive knowledge of how an early 20th century stone mason would have constructed an arch of this type. His attention to detail has been meticulous such as applying small chips and the natural flaws that one would expect to see in stone work of this age. His knowledge of the various forms in stone carving has been an education for me. Gordon completed the work in a very timely fashion to our agreed budget. I had no hesitation in leaving Gordon to get on with the work and am looking forward to an opportunity when we can use his services again. I shall be recommending Gordon to my friends. |
